Farmington Girls Receive Gold Awards
The two Farmington High School students have now received the highest honor in Girl Scouting.

Two Farmington High School students have received Gold Awards, the highest honor in Girl Scouting, reports the Hartford Courant.
Natalie Gallo and Lauren Rossitto spent at least 80 hours on their projects to receive the award, which is the equivalent of a Boy Scouts’ Eagle Scout designation.

Gallo organized four meetings designed to interest younger girls in subjects related to science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
Rossitto organized two math family game nights at West District Elementary School in Unionville.
