Farmington Resident Has A Very Happy New Year After Playing Lottery Game

The resident bought a winning ticket on New Year's Eve and won the game's maximum payout.

FARMINGTON, CT — A resident definitely had a happy New Year last week after turning a $20 bill into a life-altering lottery payout.

According to the Connecticut Lottery Corp., the resident of the Unionville section of Farmington won a cool $1 million playing the 200X 4th Edition scratch-off game.

The winning game was purchased at the Go Happy gas station, 368 Plainville Ave., on New Year's Eve, Dec. 31.
