Canton Woman Accused Of Fleeing Southington Police In Stolen Vehicle: SPD
The Southington PD charged a Canton woman and a Bristol man in connection with a stolen vehicle pursuit last week.
SOUTHINGTON/CANTON/BRISTOL, CT — A Canton woman and a Bristol man were charged by Southington police after the recovery of a stolen motor vehicle reported out of Hartford.
According to the Southington Police Department, which released information on the arrests on Wednesday, the arrests were made on Dec. 31, 2025.

• Annemarie Theresa Landry, 42, of Canton, who was charged with larceny of a motor vehicle, third-degree larceny, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, engaging police in pursuit, reckless endangerment, reckless driving, weapons in a motor vehicle, interfering with police, and illegal possession of fireworks.
She was held on a $200,000 cash or surety bond and appeared in New Britain Superior Court on Jan. 2.

According to online court records, Landry's bond was reduced to $50,000, but she remains in custody. She will appear in court Feb. 23.
• Mark J. Pawlicki, 43, of Bristol, was charged with larceny of a motor vehicle, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, interfering with police, and illegal possession of fireworks.
He was held on a $150,000 cash or surety bond and appeared in New Britain Superior Court Jan. 2.
According to online court records, Pawlicki's bond was reduced to $75,000, but he remains in custody. He will appear in court Feb. 13.
According to the SPD, on Dec. 31, 2025, officers arrested two individuals following the investigation and recovery of a stolen motor vehicle.
Police said that at approximately 9:39 p.m., officers were alerted to information that a stolen vehicle was traveling northbound in the area of West Street.
Officers subsequently located the vehicle, a blue 2013 Subaru Outback reported stolen out of Hartford, in the area of 957 West St.
When officers attempted to conduct a motor vehicle stop, the operator failed to comply and continued driving, police said.
According to the SPD,"pursuit prevention devices" were successfully deployed by Officers, however the operator continued to flee for a period of time before the vehicle ultimately became inoperable.
"Through coordinated efforts involving multiple law enforcement agencies, the vehicle was safely stopped, and two occupants were taken into custody without reported injury," wrote the SPD.
" As a result of the investigation, officers recovered approximately 30 grams of a substance later confirmed to be cocaine, drug paraphernalia, narcotics packaging materials, an illegal explosive firework, and prohibited weapons from within the vehicle."
The Southington Police Department thanked the Bristol and Plainville police departments for their assistance with this investigation.
"Our officers remain committed to proactive enforcement efforts targeting motor vehicle theft, narcotics offenses, and crimes that threaten public safety," wrote the SPD.
