Farmington Roadwork Scheduled
The roadwork will begin on Thursday and will run through Aug. 6.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation has announced a nighttime milling and resurfacing project that will be performed in Canton, Farmington, and Avon.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 4.7 mile segment of Route 177 in the three towns. This project is scheduled to start on Thursday and run until the morning of Thursday, Aug. 6.

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 177 between Route 4 and Route 44. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.

The regular work schedule for this project is 8 p.m.until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
