Farmington School Calendar 2018-19: First Day Of School And More

FARMINGTON, CT — The first day of school in Farmington is August 27 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The Farmington School District has released its 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

• 10/9: No School (Professional Development)

• 11/6: No School (Election Day)
• 11/21: Early Release
• 11/22 - 11/23: No School (Thanksgiving Break)

December

• 12/24 - 12/31: No School (Holiday Recess)

January

• 1/1: No School (Holiday Recess)
• 1/21: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)

February

• 2/18 - 2/19: No School (Winter Break)

April

• 4/8 - 4/12: No School (Spring Recess)
• 4/19: No School (Good Friday)

May

• 5/27: No School (Memorial Day)

• 6/7: Last Day of School/Early Release
