Iconic Pizzeria To Open Next Week In Farmington/West Hartford
Months of anticipation will culminate next week at the Westfarms Mall with the official opening of a popular New Haven-style pizza chain.

FARMINGTON/WEST HARTFORD, CT — Folks eagerly awaiting the day when they can grab a slice of New Haven pizza goodness at the Westfarms Mall now have a date to put on their calendar.
Sally’s Apizza, the iconic pizza brand that is part of the well-known New Haven pizza scene, announced Tuesday, Feb. 4, that it will open up its Farmington/WestHartford restaurant on Thursday, Feb. 13.

Founded by Salvatore “Sally” Consiglio in 1938, the newest pizzeria will open 5 p.m. at the mall, which is located in both Farmington and West Hartford.
Situated on the ground level of Westfarms within Jordan’s Furniture, this Sally’s
location features an 80-foot wide, high-resolution programmable LED screen that will feature a variety of content such as sports and entertainment events.

Original content produced by Sally’s will also share the screen, including a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of Angel Fire, a pizza collaboration between Sally’s Apizza’s Head Chef Bret Lunsford and Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, a famous photographer, model and foodie.
Beckham, 25, also happens to have very famous parents (soccer legend David Beckham and singer/fashion designer Victoria Beckham (of Spice Girls fame).

“We are also thrilled about our partnership with Brooklyn Peltz Beckham. As Sally’s continues to build upon its culinary leadership in pizza, our goal is to introduce more limited offerings with tastemakers like Brooklyn."
All of Sally’s pizzas are handmade and coal-fired, characterized by a thin charred crust, tan tomato sauce, and the light touch of mozzarella that the brand is famous for.
Sally’s offers an extended menu of appetizers, salads, and entrees.
As for the eatery itself, it will feature a dining room of 85 seats allowing guests to
relax in one of the many caramel-colored leather booths with full views of the screen.
The large bar area holds 20 high-top tables and another 15 bar stools.
Sally’s Apizza is located in Jordan’s Furniture on the lower level of the Westfarms Mall (400 Westfarms, Farmington/West Hartford). The restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner
seven days a week: Sunday to Thursday: 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday to Saturday: 11:30 a.m. to
10 p.m.
Sally’s has a private exterior entrance but is also accessible through the mall.
The nearest parking is in the adjacent lot as well as in the covered parking garage next to Jordan’s.
