New Upscale Farmington Eatery To Feature Simulated Sports

'Stadium XV' will be located in the old Marriott Hotel site in Farmington, which is now a large, luxury apartment complex.

FARMINGTON, CT — A new, luxury apartment complex in Farmington is getting a new, high-tech eatery/attraction that taps into residents' culinary and recreation tastes.

Stadium XV will not be your typical bar/restaurant, officials with the restaurant announced last week.

That's because the new eatery, to be located at 15 Farm Springs Road, Farmington, will not only feature fancy beers and upscale versions of bar food.

It will allow you to enjoy high-tech, simulation sports games as part of the entertainment package that comes with eating there.

Located at the former Marriott Hotel site, which in 2021 was approved to become a high-end, luxury apartment complex, Stadium XV's unique computer simulation games allow folks to hit the links, the pitch, the gridiron, the bowling alley, or any other sports/game arenas.

While open to all visitors, Stadium XV is banking that residents of Up House, the new, 225 housing unit upscale apartment complex, will house perfect clients looking for a burger, taco, local craft microbrews, and a game or two on the computer.

Stadium XV dubs itself a "craft kitchen and sim bar."

While no official opening date has yet to be announced, Stadium XV said it is expected to open some time "this fall."

"Get ready to build your own craft burgers and street tacos, dig into shareable apps, sip on Instagram-worthy crazy shakes, and have fun with our state-of-the-art sports simulators," wrote the restaurant on social media.
