Registration For Farmington Summer Rowing Clinics Now Open
Students entering grades 8-12 of all rowing skill levels are invited to sign up for two-week sessions hosted by high school crew coaches.
FARMINGTON, CT — Registration has opened for Farmington's Summer Rowing Clinics and Bootcamp, which are designed for students entering grades 8-12 who want to row on the Farmington High School crew team.
Beginner clinics are available to students entering grades 8 and 9, and participants will learn about the sport while enjoying the Farmington River.
More advanced summer rowing clinics are open to students in grades 10-12, as well.

"These clinics are for experienced rowers who are looking to improve their technique and fitness," officials said on the registration website. "Over the course of two weeks, campers will refine their technical skills, boost their fitness levels, and build friendships with future teammates!"
Both clinics will operate in two-week sessions from 9-11:30 a.m., with participants taking a swim test on the first day.

Clinic dates are:
- July 5-14
- July 18-28
- Aug. 1-11
Additionally, right before the 2022-23 school year starts, a bootcamp for students entering grades 9-12 will take place to help rowers fine-tune their stroke and ramp up their workouts ahead of the fall season.
All clinics will be taught by the Farmington High School crew coaching staff, and parents can sign their students up for them here.
