The new eatery is located at a former hotel site and it complements a new luxury apartment complex.

FARMINGTON, CT —A new, upscale, sports-theme eatery is opening to the public today (Nov. 11) in a former Farmington hotel site.

Dubbed a " new craft kitchen and simulator bar restaurant," "Stadium XV" will feature craft cocktails, beer flights, classic throwbacks, wines, and a draft and IPA beer selection.

Stadium XV is located at 15 Farm Springs Road between Up House luxury apartments and Up Club, a four-court indoor pickleball facility. It is at the former site of a Marriot Hotel.

"The craft-driven menu allows patrons to order shareables in a group, build-your-own burgers for the custom experience, or steakhouse style dishes," wrote Stadium XV in a release.

"Signature dishes include the Stadium XV smash burger featuring a chef’s blend of ribeye, brisket, and chuck on a fresh, house-baked brioche or ciabatta roll, the 48-hour brined and dry roasted jumbo wings, and the open-faced taco selection."

The restaurant is the second owned by Sona Ramchandani, who also operates Sherkaan Indian Street Food in New Haven.

Stadium XV "will make you feel right at home for your favorite game, with some of your closest friends.” Ramchandani said in a statement.

“Patrons will be excited about our dishes on the menu, many of which we have drawn on how to elevate those classic menu items we see at sports bars that sit adjacent to professional stadiums into something more while doing it right here in Connecticut.

“We are thrilled that our executive chef Chris Austin has brought his vision and culinary talents to the SXV. His craft kitchen skills and scratch techniques use the freshest ingredients that start dishes at the very beginning,” Ramchandani continued.

“SXV will not only serve the residents at Uphouse Apartments and the corporate employees on Farm Springs Road but will also become a destination for Farmington families and all of the surrounding areas.”

Sunday, Stadium XV hosted a "friends and family" event and posted a video of the day's proceedings on its Facebook page.

Monday, the public is invited to visit, dine and play.
