GLASTONBURY, CT — One arrest turned into three for a 42-year-old Franklin woman after Glastonbury police investigated a bad check case at a local bank.

The saga began at 9:43 a.m. last Friday, when Glastonbury police arrested Destiny Ziolko during an attempt to cash a fraudulent check at a local bank, according to an arrest report.

For that, she was charged with a litany of offenses that include second-degree forgery, criminal impersonation, third-degree identity theft, criminal attempt at third-degree larceny, and the use of drug paraphernalia. A $50,000 bond was attached to the charges, records show.

Meanwhile, police discovered two outstanding warrants against Ziolko — one being an extraditable warrant out of New Jersey and one in a local case involving second- and fourth-degree larceny charges, judicial system records indicate. The respective bonds in the cases are $250,000 and $15,000, records show.

She is due back in court on March 18.
