GLASTONBURY, CT — The Glastonbury Town Council has scheduled a special meeting for 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 15 to present the annual capital improvement program budget.

The meeting is to take place at the Riverfront Community Center - Community Room B located at 300 Welles Street. It will be available by Zoom Video Conferencing.

Contributing Public Comment

Residents attending the meeting in person can provide public comment live during the designated time frame. Residents wishing to contribute public comment remotely may do so before the meeting through an electronic web form, or during the meeting as outlined below.

To contribute public comment in advance of the meeting, visit the Town council public comment web page and submit comments through the electronic form. Forms must be completed and submitted by no later than 2 p.m. one business day before the meeting for comments to be included in the public input session of the meeting.

Those joining the meeting through Zoom can submit public comment during the meeting as follows:

  • The meeting host will announce each speaker by name or phone number when it is his or her time to speak. At that time, the speaker's microphone will be enabled for comment by the meeting host. Speakers should mute all other devices that may create background noise to ensure you are heard clearly.
  • Speakers must state your full name and address for the record when prompted for comment and then indicate when finished so the meeting host may then announce the next speaker.
  • Public comment is restricted to no more than three minutes and a person may not speak more than once.
