Couple Accused Of Stealing Car From Home Depot Parking Lot: Cops

Police are looking for two people accused of stealing a silver Honda CRV from the Glastonbury Home Depot parking lot the evening of Feb. 2.

GLASTONBURY, CT — Glastonbury police are looking for two people who they said are accused of stealing a silver Honda CRV from the Glastonbury Home Depot parking lot last week.

The theft occurred on Wednesday, Feb. 2 at around 6:15 p.m. Police said the car's owner took the key fob with them, but left their vehicle running and accessible.

Police said the couple was seen walking around the parking lot and looking into cars when they "found the running CRV and simply got inside and drove off."

Anyone who recognizes either of the people pictured or has any information about the theft is asked to contact Officer Ingham at 860-633-8301.

Police said some cars can be driven unlimited distances without the key fob once their engines are turned on, and are reminding the public to always turn off and lock their cars while leaving them unattended.
