Glastonbury Cops Thank Public After Missing Man Located Safe

GLASTONBURY, CT — Glastonbury police Tuesday were thanking members of the public for their help in finding a missing elderly person.

Police said that 77-year-old John Connell, a dementia patient at Salmon Brook Nursing Home, went missing at about 4 a.m. Tuesday. He had last been seen wearing a red plaid short-sleeve shirt and black pants.

Police asked residents and businesses in the area to check their surveillance footage and, at about 8 a.m., police said he was found safe.
