Glastonbury Greater Together Community Fund Offers Grant Update
Officials from the Greater Together Community Fund program Wednesday offered a grant update.

GLASTONBURY, CT — Officials from the Greater Together Community Fund program Wednesday offered a grant update:
To mark the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving’s Centennial year in 2025 and the fifth anniversary of the Greater Together Community Fund program, the Foundation has unveiled a new $100,000 investment in each of its 29 town-specific Community Funds.
This includes $50,000 immediately available for grantmaking and $50,000
allocated to endowment.
The Glastonbury Greater Together Community Fund, one of the 29 town-specific funds
established by the Hartford Foundation, is excited to announce the fifth round of
grantmaking, which is now open for applications. Thanks to the Hartford Foundation’s
investment, the Glastonbury Community Fund is increasing its grantmaking capacity to
better support local initiatives.
In addition to our Annual Grants of up to $5,000, we are introducing an Anniversary
Impact Grant of up to $15,000, in celebration of our joint anniversary. All funding will
support programs or projects that improve or enhance the quality of life in Glastonbury, or
that address a direct community need.
Application Deadline
Applications are currently being accepted and must be submitted by April 11, 2025, at
midnight EDT.
Interested applicants should visit www.hfpg.org/glastonburycf for the application and
guidelines.
Eligibility
Any nonprofit organization registered as a 501(c)(3) that serves the residents of
Glastonbury is eligible to submit an application. Nonprofits do not need to be based in
Glastonbury but must directly benefit Glastonbury residents.
Additionally, groups of town residents may apply in partnership with a registered 501(c)(3)
nonprofit, which will serve as the Fiscal Agent for the proposed project. The Town of
Glastonbury may also serve as a Fiscal Agent. “We encourage community members to
engage and collaborate in creating and growing programs that will positively impact the
lives of Glastonbury residents,” stated the Fund's announcement.
Funding Details
Funding may be used for a range of purposes, including improving access to current
programs (particularly for underserved populations), implementing innovative new

solutions to address community needs are highly encouraged. Applications for
Anniversary Impact funding must demonstrate clear impact and sustainability.
