How did you get into the insurance industry?

Upon moving to the Hartford, CT area in 2011, with a 20 year background in sales, it seemed like a natural fit. It felt like everyone I met that year was in some way connected to the insurance industry. Makes sense in the insurance capital of the world.

Finding affordable coverage for people who didn't think it was possible

What’s something you wish everyone knew about insurance?

It's not a piggy bank that pays for every little thing. That's the surest way to drive your premiums up. It's there to protect you, your family, and your assets in the event of disaster.

What's something you wish everyone knew about working with a local agent?

We study long and hard and pass rigorous exams. It's in your best interest to rely on our expertise rather than trying to "wing it" by yourself online. Insurance is what we do all day, everyday. Not once a year. Lean on us. It's what we're here for.

Premium is only one factor. It is wise to consider the value of your agent, the strength of the companies they recommend, and the importance of the coverages you need.

What do you like most about the Glastonbury area?

I love the diversity in my town. We have old homes, new homes, old people, young people, and every nationality and lifestyle represented and sharing all this town has to offer, from weekly activities to restaurants and social events, parks, rivers and amenities. And it's location is 10 minutes outside of Hartford and near all major routes and shopping.

What’s your favorite restaurant in the Glastonbury area?

The Bean226 is my favorite coffee shop of all time! Wonderful people! Excellent food made with love and of course, my favorite...Iced Peppermint Chai with almond milk.

What’s one hidden gem in the Glastonbury area that everyone should know about?

The Bear Garden at Bart's. New ownership, fantastic food, cruise nights, open mic, karaoke, live music! Lobster Rolls!!
