In Memoriam: Ada. V. Earley
The South Glastonbury resident passed away Feb. 5 at the age of 101.

Ada. V. Earley, 101, died Friday, February 5, 2016 at her home in South Glastonbury.
She was born on July 22, 1914 in Union City, NJ to John and Daisy Candio.

She was a devout Catholic who enjoyed sewing, cooking and entertaining her friends and family. She was a communicant of St. Augustine Church and a member of their Altar Guild. She is especially remembered for her ravioli and mashed potatoes which were favorites of her grandchildren.
Ada was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Roy Sr.

She is survived by her son Roy A. Earley Jr. and his wife Judy; her grandchildren Monica, Rae and Natalie; her great-grandchildren Katelyn and Michael.
We would like to thank Alan and Petra Preli, her care-giver, Maryanna and the many friends, family members and neighbors that provided their love and assistance to Ada, especially during her later years.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday Feb. 9 at 10 a.m. in St. Augustine Church in South Glastonbury. Burial will follow in St. Augustine Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Augustine Church, 55 Hopewell Rd., South Glastonbury, CT. 06073.
