In Memoriam: Rosemary D.Carini
The longtime Glastonbury resident passed away Dec. 26 at the age of 89.

Rosemary (Dooney) Carini, 89, of Glastonbury, died Saturday, December 26, 2015 at the Glastonbury Healthcare Center.
She was born November 2, 1926 in Pittsfield, MA.

She lived in Glastonbury since 1945. Prior to her retirement she was employed as a receptionist at International Aero Engines.
Rosemary was a vibrant, happy woman loved by all who knew her. She made many friends while working at the Golden Goblet in Glastonbury. She was also well known for her prize winning appearance on The Price is Right show in the ‘60s.

She enjoyed her later years traveling all over the world with her dear friend, Lucille Lockwood. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Wayne and Laurie Carini of Portland, Lynn Swendiman of Redding, CA, Kathleen and Bryson Gwinnell of Wilton, NH. Rosemary’s favorite times were spent with her five grandchildren, Kimberly, Lindsay, Jessica, Kelly and Julie.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 30, at 10 a.m. at the Mulryan Funeral Home 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury. Burial will follow in St. Augustine Cemetery, South Glastonbury. Friends may call at funeral home from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
