Check Forger Snagged In Glastonbury: Police (patch.com) — Glastonbury police stopped an alleged check forgery in progress at the M&T Bank on Welles Street on New Year’s Eve, arresting a 46-year-old New Britain man. Officers say they found the check and signature were fraudulent, leading to multiple forgery and larceny-related charges and a scheduled court appearance later this month.
