Town Of Glastonbury: Town Sidewalk Repair Program Update

The Town’s contractor will begin making sidewalk repairs through the month of September. Work will occur Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00AM and 6:00PM. Please note that the exact timing of the work and specific work areas noted are subject to change based on weather conditions and other factors.

The following locations are anticipated to be repaired and are generally listed in the order of how the work will proceed:

• Chestnut Hill Road (Copley Road to Hopewell School)
• Addison Pond Road
• Deerfield Drive (vicinity of #61 to #172)
• East Opal Drive (Vista Lane to Deerfield Drive)
• Great Swamp Road (vicinity of #262 to #319)
• Barrington Way at Addison Road
• Hillstown Road
• Water Street, Route 17 intersection to #78
• South Mill Drive

Letters will be hand delivered to affected residents in advance of the work with more specific instructions.

This work is being done as part of the Town’s Annual Sidewalk Program and subsequent work will be announced as applicable. Any changes to the scheduled repair work will be shared through the Town website, and questions regarding this program can be directed to the Engineering Division at (860) 652-7735.
