Since opening at the beginning of March, Peppermill Country Deli and Bakery has been a hit.  During a recent visit, more than a dozen curious customers came through the doors of the Salmon Brook Street eatery.  "We've had a phenomenal response," said owner Jennifer Girard.  Peppermill offers fresh baked goods, coffee, small gifts and many soups, salads, sandwiches and more. Its mac and cheese, available in a cup or in a sandwich, has been a hit. Bread will be available on weekends.
