A 'Big Day Out' for JCC Greenwich
Families enjoyed sports, games, story times and crafts.
Parents and children braved snow-laden roads to attend the JCC Greenwich ‘Big Day Out’ event held on Sunday at Fenom Fitness in Harrison, NY.
The event featured indoor games such as an adults vs. kids dodgeball game, basketball, batting cage, obstacle course, community service projects, story time and crafts for preschoolers.
“We find that on these cold January days, people with young children are looking for a place to get together with each other and get out of the house to do something a little active,” said Pam Ehrenkranz, Executive Director of JCC Greenwich.

“Having a family fun day like this allows everyone in the family to be in the same place at the same time,” said Assistant Director Leah Schechter.
Proceeds from the event will be used to support JCC Greenwich Youth Programs. The event was co-sponsored by Sanford Shapiro/Northwestern Mutual, Periodontics & Implant Dentistry Center Stamford, and Serendipity Magazine.
