Camillo Urges Greenwich Residents To Monitor Rainy Weather

GREENWICH, CT — With a flood watch in effect for Greenwich and the surrounding area beginning at 1 p.m. and stretching through Thursday, March 7 at 6 a.m., First Selectman Fred Camillo is urging residents to monitor the weather and be alert for possible flooding of small streams, rivers and roads.
The National Weather Service is forecasting heavy rains for the region starting Wednesday with a half and three-quarters of an inch of rain possible.
Wednesday night could see new precipitation amounts between 1 and 2 inches.

Rain is likely, mainly between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. Thursday, with new precipitation amounts between a tenth and a quarter of an inch.
