Custom-Sized Rug Company Ernesta Opens New Greenwich Showroom

GREENWICH, CT — Ernesta, the home design brand that makes designer-quality, custom-sized rugs, has opened a new showroom in Greenwich at 24 W. Putnam Ave.

This marks the first showroom in Connecticut for the company, and the third overall. Other showroom locations are in Manhattan on the Upper East Side and Bethesda, Md.

The new 1,000-square-foot showroom in Greenwich features "a thoughtfully curated workspace complete with a collaborative table, allowing trade professionals and enthusiasts to build custom sample boxes and receive personalized guidance," a news release on the new showroom says.

Ernesta notes the one-on-one assistance ensures clients find the perfect rug size and style to bring their projects to life. Professional designers also have access to a dedicated lounge to review samples with their clients.

"We're thrilled to expand our presence in the vibrant Greenwich design community, creating an inspiring space for both trade and consumer clients to explore our custom solutions," said Chief Sales Officer of Ernesta Jennifer Parker in a news release. "Our goal is to offer a warm, inviting environment where clients feel encouraged to collaborate with us on their projects, whether they're brainstorming ideas, selecting samples, or refining design details with our team. We aim to make shopping for custom size, designer-quality rugs approachable and easy with our personalized support every step of the way."

Ernesta was launched in 2023 by John Foley, Hisao Kushi and Yony Feng, three co-founders of Peloton, the home exercise bike company.

"At Ernesta, our mission is simple: Deliver designer quality, custom-sized rugs to you in as little as two weeks. The Greenwich store is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
