Flood Waters Have Receded In Impacted Areas: Greenwich Police

Police said some roads are still closed because of downed trees and wires from last night's storm.

GREENWICH, CT — The Greenwich Police Department said Tuesday afternoon that large pools of water seen on a few roadways around town have now receded.

Flooding was seen Tuesday morning in the areas of Strickland Road, South Water Street and Shore Road.

Police said some roadways are still closed, however, due to downed trees and wires. Crews are still out repairing and clearing areas. All non-emergency road related blockages and issues can be reported to 203-622-8004. 911 should be used for life-threatening emergencies

As of 3:45 p.m., there are 154 customers without power in Greenwich, according to the Eversource outage map.
