Greenwich Cartoonist to Discuss the Business of Her Art

Cartoonist Maria Scrivan will appear at Greenwich Library next week.

Syndicated cartoonist and Greenwich native Maria Scrivan will share her funniest cartoons from her newspaper comic Half Full and talk about the business side of cartooning in a presentation next week at Greenwich Library.

Scrivan will give a visual and entertaining presentation about her own career as a syndicated cartoonist and licensing artist, and the appearance of her work in MAD Magazine and on national television. For patrons interested in the cartooning process, Scrivan will address the age-old question “Where do you get your ideas?”

Scrivan’s program will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13 in the Meeting Room of Greenwich Library, 101 W. Putnam Ave.
