The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for coastal sections of Fairfield County due to snow.

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, CT — The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for coastal sections of Fairfield County.

"A quick moving low pressure system could bring a swath of up to an inch of snowfall across portions of the region late tonight into early Tuesday morning. The exact axis of this snowfall is still uncertain, but there is potential for slippery travel during the Tuesday morning commute," the weather service said.

Tuesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 43. Wind chill values between 25 and 35. Northwest wind 8 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph.
