Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued For Fairfield County: NWS

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, CT — The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for coastal sections of Fairfield County.

"A quick moving low pressure system could bring a swath of up to an inch of snowfall across portions of the region late tonight into early Tuesday morning. The exact axis of this snowfall is still uncertain, but there is potential for slippery travel during the Tuesday morning commute," the weather service said.

Forecast details via the National Weather Service:

Today: Mostly sunny, with a high near 50. Northwest wind around 14 mph.

Tonight: A chance of rain and snow between 10pm and 1am, then a chance of snow after 1am. Increasing clouds, with a low around 31. Northwest wind around 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Tuesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 43. Wind chill values between 25 and 35. Northwest wind 8 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph.
