MTV Reality Television Star Visits Greenwich Coffee Shop

GREENWICH, CT — Love You A Latte, the coffee shop located in the Chickahominy neighborhood of Greenwich at 160 Hamilton Ave., recently welcomed in one of MTV's most well-known reality television stars.

Johnny Devenanzio, also known as "Johnny Bananas," stopped by the coffee shop late last month, according to the business. Devenanzio is known for competing and starring in MTV's "The Challenge" and "The Real World" reality television shows.

The visit was quick, but baristas at Love You A Latte chatted with Devenanzio about his new show, "The Challenge: Vets & New Threats," the business said.

It appears Devenanzio was in the area for an event for the Hey Stamford! Food Festival with influencer and comedian, Mark "Lil Mo Mozzarella" Brucato.

"We are so excited that Johnny decided to pop into Love You a Latte. It’s so special to us that he’s supporting small businesses in the area!" Love You A Latte owner Robyn Bordes told Patch via email.

Owned by Bordes and her husband Michael, Love You A Latte opened in 2024 and is part of the couple's restaurant group which includes Constantino's of Greenwich, and Constantino's Pasta Bowls which is located next to the coffee shop.

Guests can find a variety of coffee drinks at Love You A Latte, from regular coffees to espressos, cappuccinos, cold brew and of course, lattes. Baked goods and light bites are also available.

Constantino's Pasta Bowls has received quite a fair share of celebrity visits since it opened, and it appeared in a recent episode of MTV's "Jersey Shore: Family Vacation" when cast members Vinny Guadagnino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino stopped by for a bite to eat after Guadagnino's comedy show in nearby Stamford.

Other celebrity stop-ins included Melissa and Joe Gorga and Danielle Cabral of "Real Housewives of New Jersey" fame.
