Post-Blizzard in Greenwich: A Photo Gallery

Share your photos from the storm and the big dig after the blizzard.

There’s nothing like a walk on the beach covered with pristine, glistening snow after a storm.

Chris Franco, president of the Greenwich Point Conservancy, checked out the Point Sunday morning and reports the popular 147-acre park and beaches in Old Greenwich appear to have been spared of any damage from the punishing winds and tides during the blizzard of 2016.

It was the first major storm to hit since the new Susie Baker pavilion was dedicated in October.

Thanks to Chris, here’s what Greenwich Point looked like early Sunday.

At least it was sunny when residents began their ‘big dig’ on Sunday.

And you can share your post-blizzard photos with your Patch friends. Just email them to Barbara.Heins@patch.com, and we’ll add them to this gallery.
