GREENWICH, CT — Greenwich experienced heavy rainfall and moderate flooding Sunday into Monday, which caused numerous roads in town to be closed, according to police.

However, as of 8:30 a.m. Monday, the only road that remains closed is Shore Road in Central Greenwich, Capt. John Slusarz of the Greenwich Police Department said in an update.

There were no reports of motor vehicle crashes related to the weather, Slusarz said, but there were two reports of vehicles that got stuck trying to get through flooded roadways.
