Winners Revealed For Annual Greenwich Parks & Recreation Photo Contest

Winning photos and other entries will be featured on the department's website, social media channels, and in future promotional materials.

GREENWICH, CT — Greenwich Parks and Recreation has announced the winners of its fifth annual "For the Love of Parks and Recreation" photo contest, held in July to mark National Parks and Recreation Month.

The contest invited amateur photographers to submit images highlighting the town’s parks, programs, and facilities. Entries this year included scenic landscapes and candid moments of residents enjoying Greenwich’s open spaces.

First place went to Andrew Cummings for his photo "The Estuary."

David Kaplan won second place for "Slow Down," and William Schwartz placed third with "Bird Over Byram Harbor."

"The submissions this year were outstanding and truly showcase the vibrant spirit of our community," said Greenwich Parks and Recreation Director Joseph Siciliano in an announcement. "We congratulate our winners and thank all participants for sharing their vision and appreciation for our parks and recreational spaces."
