Burning Question Of The Week: What's The Best Way To Celebrate July 4 In Groton?
The parade, beach, band or another plan?

July 4th is Wednesday, and thousands of people are expected to attend Groton's annual parade, which starts at 10 a.m. at Poquonnock Plains Park. The marchers will travel about two miles up Route 1 to the Groton Shopping Plaza.
Former City of Groton Mayor and former Town Councilor Catherine Sullivan Kolnaski will serve as grand marshal.
Will you be there? Later in the afternoon, at 3 p.m., the Noank-Mystic Community Band will perform outside Carson's Store in Noank.
