Very sad to report that Cal Robertson, well known for his long vigils outside the Navy Base and in downtown New London, standing with his handmade signs encouraging us to stop making wars, has passed away.
Cal was an example for all of us. I will miss him very much. So will many of you. He was a good person to be near and always behaved with calm respect. I've lost track of how many times he was locked up with others making peaceful anti-war demonstrations.
