Fitch High School To Open As Emergency Shelter Saturday
Pets Are Allowed, People Should Call Ahead If They Need Assistance

The Office of Emergency Management will be opening an emergency shelter at Fitch High School at noon Saturday, according to Director Joe Sastre.
Sastre said if people cannot get themselves to the shelter and cannot in anyway find someone to help, the office will try to assist them in getting to the Center.
If anyone needs help prior to the storm Saturday night have them call our 24-7 number 860-445-2000.

"The best option is to always find a place to go – neighbors, family, friends but if you need it the shelter will do," Sastre said.
The EOC will be activated at 10a.m. Saturday.
