Footwear Store Opens Its Doors In Groton

GROTON, CT — Trove Boot Co. has opened a new store in Groton. The store is part of a family of retail shops based in Mystic with more than 20 years of experience, according to a post from the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce.

"Carrying on the 30-year legacy of REM Boot Co., we specialize in industrial, hiking, and service-industry footwear for every step of your journey," a Facebook post from the store reads.
"Our team is dedicated to quality, comfort, and helping you find the perfect fit—whether you’re on the job, the trail, or the town."

The store at 789 Long Hill Road is open Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The space was previously occupied by REM Boot Co. That store closed June 30 after 30 years in business, according to its website.

The group's other stores include Trove Men’s Provisions located at 15 W. Main St., which offers clothing and gifts. Hang the Moon features gifts made by and for women at 31 W. Main St. Tidal River at 28 W. Main St. #1 is described as a "one-stop shop for brand-name clothing, gifts, and Mystic-themed gear."
