Five Things To Know Today
The Superintendent, A Spaghetti Supper and The Southeast Chapter of the Connecticut Authors and Publishers Association

1. Today is Monday, March 21. After a beautiful weekend, the National Weather Service forecasts rain today, mostly before 3 p.m., and a high temperature near 43 degrees. Tonight will be mostly cloudy with a low around 34.
2. Superintendent Paul Kadri will give an overview of the proposed school construction project during a presentation from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. today in the Groton Public Library. The school construction plan will be on the ballot in May, so this is a chance to speak to the superintendent directly.
3. The fifth grade parents at Northeast Academy Elementary School are trying to raise enough money to take the class on a field trip to the Boston Science Museum, buy yearbooks, T-shirts and pay for their promotion ceremony. The parents are holding a Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 31, at the school, so mark your calendars if you think you'd like to go.
