Groton Parks & Rec Hosts Summer SoundWaves Concert
Summer SoundWaves concerts are FREE and open to the public and will feature sounds of Will Evans, Grace Potter, and many more.
From Groton Parks and Rec: Groton Parks and Recreation’s Summer SoundWaves Concert Series at Esker Point Beach continues on Thursday, July 6 at 6:00 p.m. with a performance by Will Evans Band. The concert series is presented by Thames Valley Communications.
In his live performances, Will Evans uses his impressive looping skills to combine his drumming background with his highly energized and entertaining acoustic style. When Will is on stage, the crowds always get to their feet and he always gets to their hearts. Will has shared the stage with many top artists including Crosby and Nash, Grace Potter, Bruce Hornsby, Rusted Root, Trevor Hall, Donavon Frankenreiter, Railroad Earth and members of Dispatch.
Summer SoundWaves concerts are FREE and open to the public. Convenient parking is available at Esker Point Beach for $10 per car and $5 per motorcycle, which helps cover the costs of the concerts. Free parking and shuttle service is also available at Fitch High School. Concerts are alcohol free, family friendly events. Please, no pets. Concessions are available from local food vendors.
