• Groton schools announce early dismissal following teacher's sudden death (wfsb.com) — Groton Public Schools will dismiss students early today, Friday, December 19, following the sudden death of teacher Kerry Nystrom, with Mystic River Magnet School closed entirely. Families should note there will be no afternoon Tree House childcare or preschool, though high school athletics and late buses will run as usual.
