Groton Police Arrest Pawcatuck Man on Heroin Charges

Pawcatuck resident Winston Tomlinson, 47, was allegedly in possession of heroin and marijuana.

The Regional Community Enhancement Task Force, comprised of detectives and officers from southeastern Connecticut, formed to combat the drug epidemic in the area, specifically the increasing episodes involving heroin.

Pawcatuck resident Winston Tomlinson, 47, of 50 Mechanic St., was charged with the following:

  • Possession of Cocaine
  • Possession of Cocaine with intent to sell
  • Possession of more than 1/2 oz of marijuana
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Tomlinson was placed under arrest after an investigation into the sale of cocaine in southeastern Connecticut, according to the Town of Groton Police Department. A search warrant for his residence was executed and Tomlinson was allegedly found to be in possession of an amount of cocaine, marijuana and a digital scale.
