Groton Police Find Missing Child in Noank

Child was found unharmed after search on Saturday

 

A 9-year-old child visiting Noank became lost in the village Saturday and was found by Groton Police, according to a town police department news release.

Police responded to Noank after a child was reported missing in the village. Officers were told the child was not from the area and was unfamiliar with it.

A police officer and police dog tracked the child through local streets, back yards and along the water’s edge on the east side of the village, where they found the child unharmed, the release said.
