Groton School Board to Interview Superintendent Finalists

Two finalists were selected and the school board will interview them next week.

The Groton School Board has named two finalists in their search for a permanent superintendent: Ledyard Superintendent Dr. Michael Graner and Groton’s Assistant Superintendent for curriculum and Instruction, Denise Clemons. 

According to a report in The Day, The consulting firm McPherson & Jacobson submitted the names of six candidates for the position and the school board conducted interviews during the week of Sept. 23.  Graner and Clemons will have additional interviews during executive session from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Monday.
