Man Reported Missing, Groton Police Ask For Help
Police said they conducted an extensive search of the park utilizing drones and K9 Units.

GROTON, CT — The Groton Police Department is requesting the public's assistance in locating Steven Joseph Gush, who was last seen on March 29, 2025 at approximately 3 p.m. by family members in Ledyard.
Gush’s vehicle and cell phone were located at the Candlewood Hill Wildlife Park on Gold Star Highway (Route 184), between Candlewood Road and Rogers Road. Groton Police conducted an extensive search of the park utilizing drones, to include Groton and New London Police Department’s Drone Units; K9 Units, to include Groton and Connecticut State Police K9 teams; and numerous officers on foot.
Steven Gush is described as a white male, 6'02, 230 lbs, with a thick black beard, black hair, brown eyes, and tattoos on his legs and one arm.
