Moms Talk Q&A: Should Groton Invest in All-Day Kindergarten And Prekindergarten?
Is Early Childhood Education A Prudent Investment?
One element of the proposed $133 million school construction plan in Groton is to create two early childhood centers for children in prekindergarten through first grade, and provide full-day kindergarten.

In a letter to parents posted on the Groton Schools website, Superintendent Paul Kadri appealed for support for the public schools' construction program, saying the actual costs of all construction would be less - $33 million after state subsidies and savings running the schools.
