Update: Missing Stonington Woman's Body Found
Police confirmed the body found at Rocky Neck State Park was that of Christine McGugan.
Stonington Police confirmed that a body found Rocky Neck State Park is that of missing woman Christine McGugan, 48, of Stonington, according to Fox 61.
There were no signs that a crime was committed, according to NBC Connecticut. State Police and other agencies were at the park searching for McGugan, who was missing since Thursday, Nov. 12.
An SUV matching the description of McGugan’s vehicle was found at Bride Brook Health and Rehabilitation Center, 23 Liberty Way, Niantic, on Tuesday, Nov. 17.

According to The Day, the vehicle was observed by Bride Brook staff at approximately 8 p.m.
A Silver Alert for McGugan was issued by state police on Friday, Nov. 13.
