Kids had fun making coconuts explode with red fizzy "lava" Friday during the Groton Public Library's Science Smarts program.
They teach children ages 7-12 how to conduct experiments built upon the scientific method.
Science Smarts is offered every third Friday at 3:30 pm. Registration is required.
