Don't Forget: No More Cash at Transfer Station Starting Monday, May 6

Starting Monday, May 6, don't forget that if you are heading to the Transfer Station, you can no longer pay in cash for trash disposal.

There are systems available to accept credit and debit cards and local checks. You can also purchase pre-paid tickets at the Guilford and Madison Town Clerk Offices to use as payment. 

This announcement came from First Selectman Mazza during a press conference that concerned the arrest of two Transfer Station employees allegedly pocketing cash on the job. To read more on the arrests, click here.
