Guilford ‘Click It or Ticket’ Campaign Coming Soon
The national campaign will run from May 20 to June 2, so you can expect checkpoints, an increase in officer presence on the town's roads and some extra traffic as a result.
On Monday May 20th at 10 AM, Guilford Police Department is kicking off the national 'Click it or Ticket' Campaign at the Shoreline Plaza. They were selected as the CT Kick-off for the national event.
As part of the campaign, GPD will be ticketing unbuckled drivers from May 20 to June 2. The plaza will act as a roadside safety belt checkpoint.
So, if you're driving in Guilford, you can expect to see an increase in officers enforcing seat belt laws around the clock, including at night.
