Guilford Free Library Hosts Opera Talk On 'Champion'
The Free Metropolitan Opera Talk series concludes with 'Champion.'
GUILFORD, CT – The free Metropolitan Opera talk series concludes with the discussion of "Champion."
The free event starts at 7 p.m. on April 27 at the Guilford Free Library, 67 Park St.
"Champion" is the operatic retelling of the dramatic story of Boxer Emile Griffith. The opera was composed by Terence Blanchard, a six-time Grammy Award winner.
