Major Drug Bust Leads To Guilford Man's Arrest: Police

Detectives seized over three pounds of marijuana, cocaine, ecstasy, drug paraphernalia and over $23,7000 cash.

GUILFORD, CT — The Guilford Police Detective Unit Thursday arrested Michael Murawski, a 23-year-old Guilford resident after a lengthy investigation into alleged illegal drug sales, police said.

After a several month long investigation, the Guilford Police Detective Unit executed a search and seizure warrant on Murawski's person, vehicle and residence at 48 Pine Brook Circle.

Along with several other pieces of evidence, detectives seized over three pounds of marijuana, cocaine, ecstasy, drug paraphernalia and over $23,7000 cash that is suspected to be proceeds of drug sales, police said.

He is being held in lieu of a $50,000.00 bond, and is charged with operating a drug factory, possession of more than 1kg of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, possession of a controlled substance (ecstasy), possession of a narcotic substance (cocaine), and possession of drug paraphernalia.

"The Guilford Police would like to remind our residents that all reports of drug sales/activity are taken seriously and investigated fully. We always appreciate help from the public.
