Law Enforcement Diaper & Wipe Drive: 1 Week Left To Donate
Shoreline police departments are taking donations for Bare Necessities, which provides baby care products to families in need.
GUILFORD, CT — Shoreline residents have one more week to donate diapers, wipes and/or money to parents in need through the Shoreline Law Enforcement Diaper & Wipe Drive.
Police departments from Clinton to East Haven are hosting their annual collection drive for Bare Necessities, a nonprofit that donates baby care products to families in need, and the community can donate for eight more days.

A fundraiser on Facebook has so far raised $470 from eight donors, and community members have been donating through Bare Necessities' Amazon wish list link and by dropping off diapers at participating police departments as well.
Anyone donating through Amazon should note in the comments that they're donating through the Guilford Police Department, Guilford police wrote on Facebook.

The fundraiser is active through Feb. 15, and if the Guilford Police Department collects the most donations, one person who liked and shared the department's Facebook post will win a "Guilford Police Challenge coin," officers said.
"Keep those donations coming!!! Such an outpouring of support for our littlest community members ❤️" officers wrote on Facebook.
