Old Navy Opens New Store In Guilford
There are currently 18 Old Navy stores throughout Connecticut, according to the company website.

GUILFORD, CT — Old Navy recently opened a new location in Guilford following the company's exit from the Westbrook Outlets in recent weeks.
Located at 1919 Boston Post Road within Guilford Commons, the new Old Navy store is between DSW and Petco, and it's open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
There are currently 18 Old Navy stores throughout Connecticut, according to the company website. Od Navy originally announced plans in fall 2023 to open a location in Guilford.

Guilford Commons will get a boost from another big retailer in 2025, as T.J. Maxx is projected to open later this year next to anchor tenant Fresh Market in the 21,900-square-foot space formerly occupied by Bed Bath & Beyond, which closed in 2023.
Playa Bowls, the açaí bowl, smoothie and juice franchise, is also expected to move in to Guilford Commons in the space between T-Mobile and Pure Barre, according to Charter Realty. Patch has reached out to Playa Bowls for more information on an opening date.

First Selectman Matt Hoey previously told Patch that access to national brands in Guilford "has a correlating benefit of people now don't have to get in their cars and drive five or 10 miles and burn fossil fuel, put wear and tear on their vehicles."
Guilford Commons has 129,252 square feet of retail property and a wide range of tenants. The shopping plaza was sold last summer to Haverford Retail Partners, a Pennsylvania-based retail real estate firm, for $26.5 million, according to Hartford Business Journal.
